Annual Dinner

Plans are in the works for the Southern Lorain County Historical Society’s (S.L.C.H.S.) 2026 Annual Dinner! We will meet on Thursday, October 8th beginning at 6 p.m. at the Wellington Eagles. After dinner and a short business meeting, we will hear Carol Starre-Kmiecik as she portrays Cleveland News legend, Dorothy Fuldheim.

We will have a delicious meal catered by the Eagles staff. Check back for further details and to reserve your spot at this annual event.

If you are from the Cleveland area, you may feel you already know Dorothy Fuldheim, and that she was a friend who came into your home every day for many years. Or, if you are under 40, you may only think of her as a senior citizen that did the news. Dorothy Fuldheim had a long and varied career.
